The impressive view over the Trient glacier plateau to the Aiguilles Dorées and Aiguilles du Tour is the emblem of this typical high mountain CAS hut with a modern cubic annex. It is the starting point for high mountain races in the Swiss part of the Mont Blanc massif. However, in summer, its hosts are also experienced hikers with the hut as their objective, and in winter, ski touring enthusiasts crossing the western part of the Haute Route.
